So I am a slacker

It has officially been almost a year since I have posted about anything. This has been an interesting year so far. I have been to Massachusetts and Philly. I took Oreo along for the ride so that she didn't have to stay home with Chris.

I went to KC for a week to see my family and for some work meetings. While I was there, We had a short puppy funeral for Pepe. He passed away on December 29th, 2009. Rest in Peace little guy. We miss you.

My grandmother also had open heart surgery. It was a scary time but see did really well. It is really a miracle that she is recovering so well form the procedure.

On a different note, baseball has begun. The Red Sox won their home opener against the Yankees. Woo Hoo!

I am not good at keeping up with bloggin I have decided! I am trying to do better. I joined twitter and I think that it will help me keep the world updated about me. :-)

What i the most important news of the day you might ask? I am going on the NKOTB Cruise in exactly one month!! Let the countdown begin!!

This has been a good month :-)

As one of my goals for 2009, I decided to loose weight. I am tired of being fat so.....I made a goal of loosing 5 lbs a month. Month one is over and guess what!!!! I lost the 5 lbs. I hope I do this good in Feb. I do want to look a little bit nicer for that cruise!!

Times have been busy. Chris and I are recovering from having all of the visits this month. We love to see people.

Have you heard the great news?

My friend, and sorority sister, Jenn A-Carter is coming to visit at the end of March. What will we do for fun you might ask? We are going to the NKOTB concert in Manchester, NH. Yes, I realise this is my third concert, but I love them!! I am having the time of my life!

So, one of my dear friends Jenn V. is coming for a quick three day visit starting today. I am super excited to see her. We are going to do any site seeing. All we plan on doing is catching up and eating. Sounds like a couple of DZs right. We all love to eat. I am looking forward to a really good time. Can't wait to see you Jenn!

New Kids have announced that they are having a cruise. Tickets are sale now. Guess who has tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sisterand I are going on a cruise with the NKOTB. I think this is going to be the best vacation of my life. Woo Hoo! Check out the website if you are curious.

So, I had a busy day today getting ready for my cousin Jenelle to come visit. She is visiting law schools in the area. It was get to eat with her and spend some time, maybe too much, chatting. I hope she goes to school near me. :-) She is a ton of fun.

It is that time again

I have started an online Health class through Park University. I thought that it would help with my goal of loosing weight this year. The goal is 5 pounds a month. We will see if I make it. I am eating tons better. Now, I just need to drink more water and exercise. Wish me luck!! Have a great week everyone!

So we had Chris's cousin come to visit for NYE. I have to say that I am not currently built to entertain a 10 year old for two days straight. I am worn out. We made a gingerbread house, played SingStar and Guitar Hero on PS, and played with the dogs. It was a fun couple of days, but now I need the weekend to recuperate.

So today is the last big test in Organic Chemistry. I am doing well and I am hoping to get a B. It might be a stretch. This is a super hard class. Wish me luck.

So another day same mounds of stuff to do. I have been busy and since the semester is winding done things are getting busier. Gotta get off here and do homework. Have a great day everyone.

So I could afford tons of plane tickets. Today is Region Weekend in KC. I wish I could have went. I miss the DZs there. I did so to the Hartford Panhellenic Lunch today. I had the opportunity to meet some established DZs in the area.

Moving right along...

School is going. The goal for the semester is to pass all of my classes. So far I think it is going to happen. I think that I might retake genetics in the fall. I know I can do better.

I am a fluff friends addict (on Facebook). I need help. Maybe if I spent less time on face book and more time studying I would do better!!
